P.A.S.S. is spearheaded by a community coalition composed of area citizens and utilizes Autauga County teenagers to serve as peer models for children and youth. The program is an innovative approach to reducing irresponsible behaviors, which currently serve as the norm for adolescent populations. P.A.S.S. promotes intolerance of drug use and violence in Autauga County youth. A primary component of the project is to affect change in teen perceptions so that risky behaviors become de-glamorized.
